Let’s talk about

A personal view

What else should I know about?

Keeping Abreast believe it is important, not just to get information from medical professionals, but also to give women the opportunity to speak to other women about what having reconstruction is REALLY like.

These next pages are dedicated to giving you information from a personal perspective – remember this information is based on the experiences some of our members have had, you should always still take advice on your personal treatment from a medical professional.

“So here I am, all these years later, using my experiences, emotions and all the information I have gained, to help Keeping Abreast empower others on the road from mastectomy to breast reconstruction.”

Jacky – Right Mastectomy 2006. DIEP Reconstruction 2008.
